Yes, animals love reiki too.

 

They love receiving whenever it is offered.

I had a scenario at our home where our dog, Coco, got sick very quickly. At the time we were looking after a friends dog called Norty , who wasn’t well himself, although with him I knew he had cancer.

 

Coco was showing signs of a tick, although I knew she didn’t have one, but she nearly fell over while just standing. So me being me I turned on the reiki and started giving Coco reiki. In those first few seconds of doing that Norty started barking his head off.

 

Something my husband  was not used to as he was a very big dog. My husband tried to calm Norty but didn’t have much luck. My husband didn’t realise that I had switched the reiki on. Norty was very used to me giving it to him on a regular basis. This time he didn’t know why he wasn’t getting it. I told him he was next.

 

The next morning Coco still wasn’t well so I took her to the vet. The vet said she had a very high temperature and considering she had had it 24hrs he didn’t know how her brain wasn’t fried because it was 2 degress above a dogs normal temperature.

 

I knew in my heart that giving reiki to Coco the night before had helped here fight the infection. With the antibiotic the vet gave us and 2 more treatments that day she was back to herself in 24hrs.
